Jessi's assignment in French class last week was to create a restaurant (including a name, location, and menu) that served a classic French food. Jessi chose Crêpes, after finding out that they are basically just thin pancakes (her favourite breakfast).

The girls had a great first full week back at school! Although it kept us busy, we were surprised at how slowly the days seemed to pass. It was nice to wake up on Saturday morning without the need to get out the door.
I didn't take any pictures all week until Friday when the girls caught a frog in the backyard. They named him "Click", built him a little home, and hung out with him for a while.
We spent the rest of the weekend enjoying the sunny (but cool) weather, cleaning out our closets, and trying a new recipe: sourdough crackers! Last but not least, we'll be heading to my parents' this afternoon for our traditional Sunday dinner.
Hello Fall!
