Tomorrow you will be two years old. It's true what they say -- it feels like time is flying by so fast and yet I can't remember life without you.
You bring a smile to my face every single day. I'm not exaggerating when I say that I'm amazed by every new word, every new skill, and every new task that you learn. I love watching you explore and learn new things, and see the pride on your face when you've achieved something.
You're definitely a Daddy's girl and he couldn't adore you more either. It's safe to say that you've got him wrapped around your little finger.
This year you became a big sister. You adjusted so well to having her around, mostly because your Daddy was always there for you. You don't always like to share your toys with your little sister, but you do love to show them to her. Lately you love having her around, talking to her, and seeing her smile. You are such a sweet big sister and I know you'll be even sweeter once Jessica returns the attention.
You're a very sensitive girl. You don't like strange faces or new places. You are bothered by things getting stuck in your mouth, small hairs/dust/lint on your hands, and strange/loud noises. I think one of your biggest pet peeves is not being understood. You get very upset when your Daddy and I don't quite understand what you're trying to say.
Other than your sensitivity, you're a very easy toddler. You're never into things that you shouldn't be into, you don't hit, break, or climb on things, and you're a great listener. If you finish your meal before your Daddy and me, you promptly say "Me!... Books!" and go read your books by yourself. You love books and lately you spend most of your day reading.
You have the sweetest smile; your Daddy and I can't get enough of it. While you're sleeping we love to talk about all the adorable things you do and we jokingly say "let's go wake her up so we can see that again." We do miss you when you're asleep.
It's been an absolute joy getting to know you over these last two years.
Happy birthday my beautiful girl! Mommy loves you so much.
