What Are You Doing New Year's Eve?

For the first time ever, our family stayed up until midnight to ring in the New Year! I don't think Steve and I have stayed up until midnight since we've had kids. And the girls have certainly never been interested in it until last year, when Jessi decided to stay awake, reading in bed (all alone -- poor girl). This year we decided to all do it together.

We made plans to keep us entertained until midnight: TV, video and board games, treats, and chats. We probably would have used the karaoke machine too if it weren't for our (sweet!) houseguests sleeping in the basement. Emily and I were especially excited to watch the series finale of Stranger Things, released at 8:00pm ET on New Year's Eve.
