Getting Ready for Germany

In just three weeks, Jessica and I will be boarding a plane to Germany with my parents, my sister, and her family! We're leaving on May 1st and coming back on the 16th. While we're there, we'll be celebrating Oma's 80th birthday and visiting family and fun sites.

In an attempt to reduce stress and last-minute issues, I've already started getting ready for this big trip! I've made a packing list and a shopping list, and have managed to buy almost everything on the list (the only items remaining are gifts for our relatives and new batteries for my camera and laptop).

As I started writing my packing list, I remembered that I have a tendency to pack too much clothing. I'm now searching online for inspirations to cut down on the above numbers, and instead use key pieces to create multiple outfits, like the image below. Wish me luck!

I have also started writing a book for Jessica about the trip. If you recall, I use to write books for Emily all the time to prepare her for major events. Jessica's book is all typed up and printed; I just need to add the illustrations (my favourite part, of course!).
