Jessi Turns 11 - Parties 3 & 4

 

Jessi woke up on her birthday to a pancake breakfast, cards and presents, and lots of birthday messages and calls. We continued all her birthday traditions: updating the growth chart, getting Costco ice cream, and taking a mommy-daughter pic. A lovely day to be 11!

11 Years with this girl!

Jessi invited two friends for her birthday party on Saturday, but sadly one of them was sick and couldn't make it. That didn't stop Jessi and her friend N from making the best of it and having a blast!

I organized three activities on top of the usual cake, balloons, and presents: painting Jaguar Shadow Boxes, a string-untangling challenge, and water games outside (inspired by Survivor). It definitely kept the girls entertained for the 3-hour party.

Thus ends Jessi's birthday extravaganza! She had a wonderful week and is ready to tackle her 12th year.

Jessi Turns 11 - Parties 1 & 2

Let the week-long celebration of Jessi's birthday begin! First we hosted my family on Sunday for a birthday gathering with all the usual fixings.

Party #2 happened yesterday with the girls' neighbourhood friends, C & S. This was extra special because Jessi and S share the same birthday (3 years apart)!

The fun doesn't stop here; tomorrow my baby officially turns 11 and she'll celebrate with her her school friends on Saturday. Oh, to be young!
