Nathalieland - Year In Review

Goodbye 2019, you've been good to us! No major ups or downs, which is just how we like it. Here are some of the highlights:

We started the year with some fun family bowling in January. My blog turned 9 years old and I interviewed the girls to see what they were up to.

In February we celebrated Valentine's Day and our two grandpas' birthdays.

I celebrated my birthday in March by buying myself a new (green!) ukulele. Cousin Lorelei turned 6 and we had a nice, relaxing March Break.

In April we enjoyed a visit from our Saskatoon friends and lots of chocolate for Easter. Jessi continued to pursue her interest in sewing and Emily had fun on a school field trip.

May was an exciting month! We bought a piano, Emily learned to ride a bike, I had a lovely Mother's Day, and last but not least, Jessi turned 8 and celebrated with her friends in pyjamas!

In June I blogged about our family trip to Niagara Falls and Father's Day at Grammy's cottage. Lemmy and Ludwig had their first fight and the girls finished grades 2 and 4.

We started summer vacation in July with our German relatives on Canada Day, cousin Caleb's 4th birthday, and lots of time in the water. Jessi finished her ultimate frisbee class and our guinea pigs turned 1!

Plenty of awesome stuff in August, starting with our 11th wedding anniversary and a (later-in-the-month) date with music. We had so much fun visiting Uncle DennisGrammy, and Steve's friend Aaron. We topped off the month with Emily's 10th birthday!

The girls went back to school in September (grades 3 and 5!). We updated our family photos for Grand-Maman's birthday, then celebrated my parents' 40th wedding anniversary.

October was busy with Thanksgiving, trying out pottery for the first time, blogging about going gray, celebrating Daddy's birthday, and Halloween of course!

November was so quiet that I caught up on my blogging (Corn Maze and Sewing Costumes). I had so little to blog about that I decided to just look back on past years...

In December I blogged about our weekend in Ottawa and my Advent woodworking project. The rest was all about music and Christmas!

Happy New Year from Nathalieland
Hello 2020!
