Easter 2025

Gone are the days of bubbles, colouring books, stickers, and springtime toys in the girls' Easter baskets. What remains is lots of chocolate and some clothes for my two teenagers. They also still enjoy a little egg hunt in the house!

Chocolate for the adults

One of Emily's favourite parts: sorting!

And like so many years before, the cousins enjoyed searching for eggs and treats in Grand-Maman and Grand-Papa's backyard on Sunday afternoon.

Happy Easter!

What else have we been up to lately? Catching up with family from San Francisco, hanging out with cousins, and shopping for a grade 8 graduation dress and new deck furniture. Spring is finally in the air!

Busy Weekend

We just had a jam-packed weekend, full of family activities with relatives from Germany and time at Snug Harbour with Steve's family. First off was watching a Kingston Frontenacs hockey game (final score 9-0!?), followed by taking pictures in our traditional German attire, celebrating uncle Albert's 40th birthday, and viewing the displays at Kingston Penitentiary's Pumpkin Inferno

Last but not least, today we celebrated Maggie's 2nd birthday together at Snug Harbour. What gorgeous weather for the start of October! Steve even braved a quick dip in the lake while the kids had fun with frogs.

And now it's back to the daily grind... until Thanksgiving next weekend!
