Here are the 28 books I read/listened to since November. A good mix of fiction, self-help, and memoir/biography, as usual!

It's time for a recap of the books I've read/listened to in the past six months. What surprises me is that this is the 25th recap, meaning over 12 years of reading a grand total of 621 books!
Since May I've read 36 books, mostly audiobooks in the nonfiction biography/memoir/humour/self-help genres. The only problem is that I often struggle to retain what I've read, even if I found it insightful. Sometimes I keep notes, but maybe I should start keeping track of books I'll want to re-read. I'm also still part of a book club and enjoy the occasional fictional novel.

It's time to update my book list with the 29 titles I read/listened to over the past six months. I enjoyed and learned a lot from a few nonfiction ones, including The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People, The Anxious Generation, If You're In My Office It's Already Too Late, Good Inside, and Come As You Are. Would recommend!
Jessi and I have recently stopped reading together at bedtime, so my teen/YA ebook consumption might drastically decrease (A Good Girl's Guide to Murder being the last one). Steve and Emily still read together, but Jessi and I got tired of trying to pick our next book and decided we'd rather just hang out, chat, make art, or play games at bedtime. It was a good run!

Here's a list of the 30 books I've read since May. Lots of great reads here, especially in the nonfiction genre. I've also re-read a few fiction novels, either to Jessi at bedtime or to gauge their appropriateness for the girls. Emily and Jessi have really gotten into YA and even adult books, like Me Before You and The Glass Castle, for their depth and relatability. Here's to books broadening the mind!
