Daddy is 37!

Today we celebrated our dear Daddy/Steve/Feebs turning 37! Although he is not fond of birthdays or attention in general, he kindly accepts our hugs, cards, and well wishes on his special day.

Two things Steve is fond of: hiking in nature and eating good food. So that is what he got on his birthday! Steve and I enjoyed a walk on the Cataraqui Trail in the morning, then we cooked Elk burgers for dinner (Steve's first time trying Elk).

Our thoughts on Elk burgers: good but not worth the price tag. Always fun to try new things though!

First Snow!

Well that was unexpected! There were the tiniest flakes of snow when we picked up the girls from school yesterday. And rather than disappearing as quickly as they came, the snowflakes grew bigger and fell faster as the hours went by. We all watched in amazement! It definitely added some excitement to our evening walk with Lucy.
