Happy Halloween!

Daddy is 39!

Our favourite man turned 39 today! The poor guy is having a rough start to his 40th year though: he is down with a bad cold/flu bug. He put a smile on his face for a few pictures, but mostly just lay on the couch all day. Worst of all, we missed him terribly for our Sunday family dinner and the pre-planned visit to Pumpkin Inferno. Better luck next year, Steve!

At my parents' we toasted to Steve, sang him Happy Birthday (and sent him the video), then dressed warmly for our outdoor adventure to see thousands of intricately-carved pumpkins on display at Fort Henry. Everyone had a blast and we made sure to share all our stories and pictures with Daddy when we got home.

Train to Toronto

We had an exciting day on Monday: woke up early to catch a train to Toronto (the girls' first train ride!). From there we took the TTC Subway (also a first) to visit our new niece Margaret, followed by the CN Tower and Ripley's Aquarium. We had dinner at Union Station before hopping back on the train to make it home for bedtime. Here is a photo recap of our adventure.
