We did a lot of sitting around today! It was a scorching, sunny day (30°C feels like 40°C) until a windy thunderstorm hit around 7:45pm. Steve and Jessi were going to go see the Canada Day fireworks, but that plan was cancelled due to the weather. Otherwise, lots of family time!

Well that was fun! On top of our typical daily activities, we celebrated Caleb's birthday and Canada Day with family. We even took the opportunity to update our family portrait and Jessi saw the fireworks for the first time ever! Emily and Steve opted out since Emily's not a fan of staying up late. It was a pretty typical day in Nathalieland: sauna plans and family time ♥. And it was not just Canada's birthday -- we also celebrated Caleb's 9th!
