First Submission!

Today was a big day: I sent in my very first submission to a publisher!

I've been working on a few picture book manuscripts since September and the time has come for me to submit them! Although this is only my first submission, and apparently it takes a jillion submissions before your manuscript might get accepted, it still seems like a big step. I'm excited! I sure hope the publishing world enjoys my books as much as I do.

April 12th is already a date that is near and dear to my heart: it was my childhood dog Princess's birthday (it's also my friend Lisa's birthday. Happy Birthday, Lisa!). I'm happy to be adding to this date's memorable-ness!
