Emily's Future

Emily's been talking a lot about her future lately. It's adorable to hear a child's perspective of the future and adulthood. Emily seems to have it all figured out. Here are her future plans (for when she's 20, according to her):

Lifelong Partner: She would like to marry her daddy. After I reminded her that he's already married, she settled for "a guy who looks like Daddy." Her third (and final) choice was Jessica. Emily told me that she and Jessi will be married and live together for the rest of their lives.

Residence: They are going to live in a big castle.

Occupation: Emily will be the Hulk. Jessica will be Spiderman. Both will wear costumes, of course.

Diet: There will be noodles every day. Cheesy noodles for lunch and supper (for Emily). Jessica will have a choice of plain Rigatoni noodles or tortillas. Snack times will be chocolate, candy canes ("whenever you want them"), and they agreed to "all different fruits and vegetables" after I coaxed them a bit.

Children: First Emily said she will have 12 babies. Then she reduced it down to two. A boy and a girl, named Hulk and She-Hulk (or Bruce Banner and Jennifer Walters).

Household Rules:
- You get a sticker book every day (our current rule is one per month).
- You can put stickers anywhere you want, all over the house.
- You can have as much computer time as you want.
- You can eat anything you like, even if you already had it.

So there you have it! She basically just wants to break all of our current rules. No wonder she's so excited about growing up ;).
